Privacy Policy
What Powers4GA collects, where it is kept, and why.
Last updated November 7, 2026
Powers4GA shows your Google Analytics data on a simple dashboard. We fetch it from Google when you ask, and we store only what the app needs to work.
Powers4GA is run from India. In this policy, "we" means Powers4GA.
Your account
We store your name, email address and workspace. If you sign up with a password, we store it hashed.
If you sign in with Google, we also store your Google account ID and profile photo, and the sign-in tokens Google returns. Each session records its IP address and browser details.
We keep a change log of edits to these records. It helps us look into problems and misuse.
Your Google Analytics data
Your analytics stay in your own Google Analytics property. When you open a dashboard, we ask Google's APIs for the report and show you the result.
To stay fast and inside Google's limits, we cache report results for 30 minutes or less. Live visitor counts expire after about a minute. We don't keep our own copy of your analytics.
Your Google connection
When you connect Google Analytics, we store:
- the Google account ID and email you connected
- an encrypted refresh token, so we can fetch reports for you
- the permissions you granted
For each website you add, we store:
- the Google Analytics property ID and name
- the Google Analytics account name
- its time zone and currency
How we use Google user data
We ask Google for these permissions:
- Your identity and email address. We use them to sign you in, and to know which Google account you connected.
- Your basic profile. Google sign-in shares your name and photo. We show them in your account.
- Read access to Google Analytics. We use it to list your properties and show your reports.
- Edit access to Google Analytics. We use it only when you ask. It lets us create a property, a web stream or a Measurement Protocol secret for you.
Powers4GA's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We use this data only to run the features you see in Powers4GA. We don't sell it, use it for ads or use it to train general AI models.
We share it only with the providers listed below, or when the law requires it. Our team reads it only when you ask for support, or when security or the law needs it.
Revenue tracking
You can send sales from Dodo Payments or Stripe to Google Analytics. Your payment provider sends each sale and refund to us, and we pass it on to your Google Analytics property.
For each website with revenue tracking, we store:
- its measurement ID and web stream ID
- an encrypted Measurement Protocol secret
- who accepted Google's user data terms, and when
- an encrypted signing secret for each payment webhook
For each sale or refund, we store:
- the provider, the transaction ID, the amount and the currency
- the Google Analytics client ID and session ID, if your checkout passed them
- when it happened, and whether it reached Google Analytics
We don't receive your customers' card details. We don't store their names or email addresses.
Google Analytics gets the amount, currency, transaction ID and product IDs. You decide what your checkout sends, and you are responsible for telling your customers.
Billing
Dodo Payments is our merchant of record and sells Powers4GA to you. It collects your payment details and billing address, and handles tax and receipts.
Its privacy policy covers that data. We keep only your order reference, what you bought, its status and its date.
The waitlist
Before launch, we ran a waitlist. If you joined it, we kept your email address, the page you joined from, the referrer, any UTM tags and the time you joined.
Cookies and browser storage
Signing in sets a session cookie that keeps you signed in. Google sign-in also sets a short-lived cookie that protects the sign-in from tampering.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser remembers your light or dark mode and your setup progress on your device.
Why we can use your data
If laws such as the GDPR apply to you, we rely on:
- Contract. We need the data to provide the service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests. We use it to keep the service secure, fix errors and prevent abuse.
- Consent. This covers your Google connection. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Legal obligation. Some records, such as billing, we must keep by law.
Who we share data with
We don't sell your personal data. These providers help us run Powers4GA:
- Cloudflare. It hosts the app, our database and the report cache. It also runs bot checks on forms and sends account emails.
- Google. It provides sign-in and the Analytics data you connect. Google's privacy policy applies.
- Dodo Payments. It handles payments, as described above.
- Sentry. It collects error reports and some session replays. Replays hide on-screen text, form inputs, images and media.
These providers may process data outside your country. If we merge with or sell the business, this policy keeps protecting your data.
How long we keep data
- Report cache. 30 minutes or less.
- Account, connection, website and revenue records. Until you ask us to delete them.
- Waitlist entries. Until you ask us to remove them.
- Billing records. As long as tax and accounting law requires.
How we protect it
Google refresh tokens and revenue secrets are encrypted, and never sent to your browser. Passwords are hashed, and all data moves over HTTPS.
Our security page has more detail.
